Arrows

An arrow is a projectile shot with a bow or crossbow. Quality arrows are esencial for an accurate hit. Nowadays, the basic material is carbon, which has replaced previously used materials such as wood or duralumin. Carbon is currently the most used material for arrow construction, accurate, light, strong, almost indestructible, never bends unless damaged at first sight, and is always 100% straight. Duralumin arrows do not and cannot have this property. They may appear straight and accurate, but when measured by spinning in a tester they may be bent and thus less accurate. Beware, however, some of cheap, especially Chinese "carbon" arrows, they have huge tolerances and are not accurate, it does not pay to skimp on an arrow if it is to be accurate. The best arrows we offer for Excalibur crossbows are original arrows - for the Micro series they are Quill arrows, for the Bulldog 385 Diablo and for the Bulldog 430 and Assassin 420 they are Firebolt arrows. Newly, all Excalibur arrows are fitted with a rounded Rhino duralumin insert. For the true connoisseur, Excalibur offers its premium arrows in the Proflight line, in 16.5" or 18" or 20" inch lengths. All genuine Excalibur crossbow arrows have a straight threaded duralumin rear insert. The thread is only for the eventual screwing in of the arrow extractor, however I recommend that you prefer to use a rubber extractor and pull the arrows by the body to avoid tearing the rear insert. If you get any target stock from us, you won't even need a screw extractor as the arrows are easy to pull out of the target stocks we supply.

The golden mean for compound crossbows are these carbon arrows : Carbon arrows 20", 10ks, 100% carbonové fibre

Crossbow arrows cannot be used for archery and bow arrows cannot be used for reflex or pulley crossbow shooting.
