Viking Hand Axe is a Viking axe based on a historical model. Cold Steel President Lynn C. Thompson and knife makers David Baker and Rich McDonald. The Viking Hand Axe is dominated by a massive head with an arched, 16 cm long blade. The axe head is made of 1055 carbon steel protected by a corrosion-resistant finish. The blade is extremely tough and the edge is very easy to sharpen even in adverse conditions. The extremely wide and highly sharpened blade makes for a formidable fighting force of an axe that would be the pride of any Viking collection! The 76 cm long blade is made of American white walnut.
