Zulu Assegai [as-uh-gahy] is made of SK-5 medium carbon steel. After heat treatment, the steel acquires more elastic properties. The resistance of the blade to bending under impact forces is achieved. The Assegai blade is available with two ratchets of different lengths (965mm and 2070mm). Both versions of the ratchet are made of American ash (Fraxinus americana). This wood has exceptional properties, it is very hard, flexible and hardly subject to weathering. Assegai spears are supplied with a durable Secure-Ex® sheath.
