Complete specifications
The Crawford Model 1 is a mid-sized EDC folding knife with a smooth blade, flipper opening and linerlock + secondary safety.
The Crawford Model 1 is named after its creator, American knifemaker, West Crawford. Wes Crawford agreed and designed the new "Flipper" for Cold Steel. The design of the knife does not deny Crawford's handwriting and the shape is directly based on his successful custom knife models. The wide blade, with a pronounced belly for more comfortable cutting and hollow-cutting, is made from Japanese 4034 Stainless Steel. This stainless steel is comparable in properties to AUS 8A or 440C. The handle of the knife is made of Zy-Ex material. It is equipped with a double locking system. The main safety is a linerlock and a secondary sliding safety secures the knife in the open position so that the linerlock cannot be broken.
